Ball Type Quick Lock Shaft
This is a sophisticated winding shaft for slitter rewinder machine,used either as single shaft winder or duplex shaft winder (centre winding type).
The shaft compensates speed variation due to gauge variation with multi cores.
Minimum core width of 20 mm is possible.
Reel holding is possible at any position acroos the width.
No time lost in re-positioning cores since no distance pieces are required.
Possible to run at very high speed.
The shaft consists of slotted shaft, rubber bladers, hard and ground steel cage with ball type gripper, Teflon strip for better slippage and self lubricating segments separating two adjacent steel cages.
Sizes: Suitable for 3” & 6” core I.D.
Length: As required.
Pad Type Shaft: A lug type air expandable shaft. Larger lugs are used to achieve better grip and more reel weight capacity. The pad material is special abrasion resistant rubber.
Continous Rubber Strip Type Air Expandable Shaft: Suitable for steel and thermoplastic cores which re not possible with leaf type shafts. Narrow width cores are possible, but gauge and speed variations are not accommodated.
Doctoring Shaft: This similar width shaft can be air expandable or mechanically expanded. Can also be with longer end. (Cantilever type fitting).
MechanicalAdaptorShaft (PnemoMechanical Shaft): This is a mechanical attachment fitted on ‘Anar Rub Tech’ lug type air expandable shaft suitable for core I.D. 3” Just fiiting two adaptors on one shaft subsequent larger size core is possible to process. For example, existing shaft suitable for 3” core I.D. can easily be converted into shaft suitable to hold 6”core I.D..
Reverse Working Shaft (Bladder Less But Pneumatic): This is a mechanical shaft which requires compresses air to achieve collapse condition. This has all advantages like positive gripping,core safest working.
Air Expandable Shafts
Lug Type: Suitable for winding and unwinding stages. Useful for single core, multi core of 150 mm width. Available for core I.D. 3”, 4”, 6” and 8” in required length.
Leaf Type: Ideal at unwind stage. Narrow width of core, to prevent damage to thin cores. Core-less winding possible.
